About the speaker
Richard first moved to the US to complete a degree in computer science at the City University of New York. Shortly after graduation, he went right into launching the first of several online businesses. During the process of building each company, Richard greatly enriched his knowledge of product development and marketing. After a few different ideas didn’t quite take hold, Richard started a web development and marketing company called SiteForBiz. After a little time and effort, the company became a sustainable business with a growing roster of clients.
While working with these clients, a few thousand small and mid-sized companies, Richard saw a growing need for an all-in-one marketing solution.
The main challenges were that the existing tools were often too scattered or too expensive. To meet the needs of his client’s, and provide the market with a better, affordable solution, Richard set out to build Vbout.com. Vbout is a marketing technology platform that fills the gap in the market for smaller companies who want to use cutting edge marketing technology and automation.
Now 4 years into building Vbout.com, the growth of the marketing automation segment has reached an all-time high. In order to expand in the US and internationally to meet this growing demand, Vbout secured seed funding from investors in late 2015.
As of August 2016, Vbout has reached a milestone by acquiring over 1000 customers. The company also has more than 15 full-time employees all committed to increasing momentum for Vbout’s future growth.
In addition to building and promoting the Vbout platform, Richard and his team are dedicated to sharing their knowledge with marketers through online education, webinars and workshops. This vision of simplifying digital marketing has caught on and helped grow a community of over 5000 marketers in NYC. These professionals meet regularly to network, learn and discuss the latest trends in marketing technology.
